The Executive Commissioner of Corporate Services at the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), Haj Ummusalma Isyaka Rabiu recently received a congratulatory visit in her office from a delegation led by Hon. Umar Yusif Kashe Kwabo, APC Chairman of Gwale Local Government, and Hon. Khalid Ishaq Diso, former Executive Chairman of Gwale, along with other party officials.
They congratulated Hajiya Ummusalma on her achievements and expressed confidence in her ability to deliver effective service at the Commission, while she thanked them for their support and pledged to continue promoting and supporting the party in the local government, the state, and across the nation.
The USIR Foundation has successfully concluded the screening exercise for the 500 students whose 2025 JAMB registration it sponsored across Nigeria.
In line with its mission to promote education and empower young Nigerians, the Foundation announced that it will fully sponsor the university education of all students who achieve the required JAMB scores for admission into accredited Nigerian universities. This support will cover tuition until graduation.
Out of the 500 beneficiaries, Kano State accounts for the largest number of sponsored candidates, with 150 students drawn from Gwale Local Government Area (LGA) alone. The screening revealed several outstanding performances, with some students scoring 311, 308, 228, and 219 in the 2025 JAMB examination.
The initiative is led by Hajiya Ummussalama Isyaka Rabi’u (Jarumar Ƙasar Hausa), Executive Commissioner, Corporate Services, FCCPC, and Founder of the USIR Foundation. She emphasized that the program aims to reduce the financial burden on families, encourage academic excellence, and create opportunities for talented students who might otherwise be unable to pursue higher education.
The USIR Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to monitoring the progress of these students and ensuring that those who gain admission receive the necessary financial and moral support throughout their university journey.
They inspected the ongoing works in both Kebbi and Sokoto Section of the Superhighway that is ongoing simultaneously.

Yakasai commended His Excellency President Bola Tinubu GCFR for bringing this Gigantic Legacy project which was conceptualized since the Time of Late President Shehu Shagari over 43years ago, but was never done until President Tinubu took the bold decision to undertake this gigantic project. The UK Government’s Travel Advisory has moved Kaduna State from “Red” to “Amber”. Consequently, British citizens are now free to travel to Kaduna State. This cheery news was disclosed by the Development Director of Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Ms. Cynthia Rowe during the signing of the new Mutual Accountability Framework (KaMAF) with the Kaduna State Government.
Ms. Rowe added that Kaduna State has been on “Red” since 2022 and has now been moved to “Amber” due to our administration’s persistent efforts in addressing security challenges. Ms. Rowe’s disclosure and acknowledgement of our sustained efforts is a strong testament to the impact of our peace and security initiatives, and a signal to investors that Kaduna State is safe for business.
Today’s signing of the new Mutual Accountability Framework (KaMAF) marks another important milestone in our collective resolve to transform lives and build a brighter future for the good people of Kaduna State. The goal is to consolidate on the successes recorded in the areas of governance, health, education, and agriculture. I signed the agreement on behalf of the Kaduna State Government, while Ms. Cynthia Rowe signed on behalf of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
Together with the FCDO, we have achieved tangible progress: reducing maternal and child mortality, expanding healthcare access, improving school infrastructure and teacher training, and scaling up agricultural investments with over 10% of the 2025 Budget dedicated to crops and livestock productivity. Through reforms such as the Local Government Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability (LFTAS) Programme, Issue-Based Initiatives, and Community Development Charters, we are deepening citizen engagement, strengthening institutions, and driving rural economic transformation.
I remain profoundly grateful to the FCDO for their steadfast partnership. I am confident that the implementation of this new KaMAF will further accelerate good governance, foster inclusive development, and consolidate Kaduna State’s position as a model of resilience, equity, and shared prosperity.

During the meeting, we took the golden opportunity to present a symbolic gift to the leader of our party in Bayelsa State, Chief Timipre Marlin Sylva, CON. This gesture was not just an expression of appreciation, but also a recognition of his steadfast support, commitment, and sacrifices towards the growth and progress of the APC in Bayelsa State since 2014 till date.
In his remarks, our DG, Comrade Bassey Mborah, assured Chief Sylva of the unflinching loyalty and continued support of all non-indigenes in Bayelsa. He emphasized that our structure is fully mobilized and working tirelessly to bring every non-indigene under the umbrella of the APC, thereby strengthening the party base ahead of future elections.

Mahaifinsa, fitaccen malamin addini, Sheikh Tijjani Bala Kalarawi, ya shahara wajen jagoranci da wa’azi, yana tsayawa tsayin daka wajen kare mutuncin Musulunci da walwalar jama’a. Hangen nesa: Yana da basira ta ganin gaba, ya san inda al’umma za su fi amfani idan aka yi musu shugabanci mai adalci da gaskiya. Ƙarfin shugabanci cikin lumana: Ba ya rikici ko nuna girman kai, amma ya fi karkata ga zaman lafiya da haɗin kai. Wannan nadin ya zama shaida ga jama’a cewa Abbas mutum ne da ya cancanci amana. Idan aka ba shi kujera, ba za a ga almubazzaranci ko son zuciya ba, sai dai gaskiya, tsari, da kishin al’umma. Wannan ya nuna cewa ba tare da wata shakka ba, Abbas mutum ne da ya cancanci kowace irin madafa ko matsayi da Allah zai bashi a gwamnati, domin shi ɗan halak ne, ɗan kunya ne, kuma ɗan gida ne na gaskiya.
Hikimar Rayuwa :- A rayuwa, halin kirki shi ne gadon da ya fi kudi ko dukiya. Idan mutum ya fito daga gida mai gaskiya, ya kuma ci gaba da riƙe gaskiyar a rayuwarsa, to al’umma za su amince da shi su kuma yarda da shi a duk inda aka kai shi. Wannan shi ne asalin abin da Abbas Tijjani Bala Kalarawi ya zama – shaida ta gaskiya, nagarta, da alfaharin al’umma.
Kammalawa :- Abbas Tijjani Bala Kalarawi ba kawai suna ba ne. Shi shaida ce ta tarbiyya, ta gaskiya, ta tausayi, da kishin jama’a. Shi mutum ne da al’umma za su iya dogaro da shi a yau da gobe. Idan Allah Ya ɗaga shi zuwa kowace kujera, babu shakka zai rike ta da gaskiya da tsoron Allah, domin halinsa ya riga ya shaida hakan.
Abbas matashi ne nagari, wanda Allah Ya ɗora shi a fitila domin ya haskaka wa matasa da al’umma gaba ɗaya. Duk wanda ya san shi ya san cewa wannan haske ba zai mutu ba, domin asalin sa gaskiya ce, amana ce, da kuma albarkar gida.
