MEETING AND RECEPTION OF VISITING DELEGATIONS

As is customary, the Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Hon. Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, NIM, on Sunday, 4th January, 2025, held a meeting to receive and interact with various groups of visiting delegations.
The visiting groups included political organizations, religious leaders, student associations, women’s groups, business communities, self-reliance associations, and other key stakeholders within the society.
During the meeting, important issues relating to community development, national development initiatives, support for education, and the promotion of self-reliance among the populace were extensively discussed. In view of the leader’s vision, strategic planning, and commitment, the groups expressed their confidence and support.
Leaders of the various groups also outlined their proposed programmes and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and development of the community.
In his remarks, Hon. Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi reaffirmed his commitment to continuous support for the people through empowerment programmes, direct interventions, and other initiatives designed to improve the living standards of the populace. He further emphasized the importance of unity, self-reliance, and mutual support as key pillars for achieving sustainable development in any society.

The Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, NIM, today, Thursday, 1st January 2026, attended a meeting of the Gidan Makama Special Primary School Old Students Association

Organized to commemorate 40th anniversary of their graduation. The event brought together alumni from various walks of life to reflect on the history of the school and its long-standing contributions to educating the community over the years.
During the ceremony, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi expressed his delight at the unity and commitment shown by the old students in supporting the development of their alma mater. He emphasized the importance of education as the foundation of societal development and called on other citizens to contribute towards improving schools, especially primary schools, in order to build a better future for the younger generation.
In support and encouragement of the Old Students Association, DG Dan’agundi donated over Ten Million Naira (₦10,000,000) to support the development projects the association plans to execute at the school The donation was met with applause and commendation from participants, who described it as a model worthy of emulation by other alumni and friends of the school.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Old Students Association Foundation expressed special appreciation to Hon. Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi for his unwavering commitment and continuous support to the association. He noted that in almost all the projects undertaken by the foundation, Dr. Dan’agundi contributes no less than 85 per cent of the required funds, a clear demonstration of his passion for education and overall community development.

GET TOGETHER & AWARD NIGHT AT CORRESPONDENCE CHAPEL, KANO

The Correspondence Chapel in Kano State organized a grand Get Together & Award Night, a gathering that brought together members, leaders, and guests to strengthen fellowship, unity, and togetherness, while also honoring outstanding members who have contributed to the progress of the Chapel.

who received an award on behalf of Rt. Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, alongside other prominent leaders and elders.
During the event, informative speeches were delivered, and awards were presented to members who demonstrated loyalty, commitment, and dedication in the discharge of their duties.
Hon. Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi commended the leadership for successfully organizing the event and emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and mutual understanding among people of different backgrounds. He urged everyone to continue building society based on integrity, hard work, and patriotism.
The leaders also stated that the Get Together & Award Night serves as a platform to strengthen love and unity among members, as well as to motivate those in service to continue their good works.
The event ended successfully in an atmosphere of joy and happiness, with prayers and goodwill for sustained development and lasting peace in Kano State and the country at large.

DAY TWO OF THE MEETING WITH TINUBU SUPPORT GROUPS, IN MUNICIPAL AND SURROUNDING LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS

continued his engagement with grassroots groups across the local government areas. On the second day, he met with supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from various wards and communities within Kano Municipal.


Today, Thursday, the Director-General met with Birni and Kewaye Local Government Areas, where he held a special session with representatives from thirteen (13) wards. During the meeting, he addressed dozens of members from each ward, encouraging them and emphasizing the importance of continuing grassroots mobilization to raise public awareness and to ensure the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 elections, God willing.
In addition, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi announced the economic palliatives of rice and cash to further boost their morale and support them in carrying out their Upcoming activities.

The Director General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr. Baffa Babba Danagundi,nim, has warmly congratulated His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje,(con) (Khadimul Islam), on the occasion of his 76th birthday, describing him as a towering political figure and a steadfast pillar of democracy in Nigeria.

Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, born on December 25, 1949, marks this remarkable milestone today, Wednesday, December 25, 2025.

In a congratulatory message, Dr. Dan’agundi praised Dr. Ganduje’s exceptional leadership, political wisdom, and enduring contributions to democratic governance and party politics in Nigeria. He particularly acknowledged Dr. Ganduje’s strategic role in repositioning and strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) not only in Kano State but in Nigeria as well, noting that the party has recorded significant consolidation and renewed national confidence under his chairmanship. According to Dr. Dan’agundi, Dr. Ganduje has remained a dependable force in Nigeria’s political evolution, whose experience, discipline, and commitment have continued to enhance political stability, national unity, and democratic growth across the country.

He further emphasized that Dr. Ganduje’s unwavering dedication to the ideals of the APC and his consistent pursuit of national cohesion have made him an indispensable asset to both the party and the Nigerian state. “As you mark this important milestone, your legacy of service, loyalty, and principled leadership stands as a source of inspiration to party faithful and Nigerians at large. Your contributions to democratic development and party cohesion remain indelible,” Dr. Dan’agundi stated.

On behalf of the entire members of the Tinubu Support Group across the North-West Geo-Political Zone, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi wished Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (Khadimul Islam) continued good health, renewed strength, and many more years of impactful service to the APC and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

SUPPORT PROVIDED TO CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATIONS IN KANO STATE

The Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC),Hon. Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, NIM,has provided support to Christian leaders in Kano State in the form of one thousand (1,000) bags of rice, along with cash assistance, to help them celebrate the Christmas and New Year festivities with ease.

The distribution ceremony was attended by top leaders of various Christian organizations, including the Secretary and Treasurer of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kano State Chapter, Elder Ibrahim Hassan, the Chairman of Northern Christians resident in Kano, and the Coordinator of the Northern Nigeria Christian Association (Political Wing), alongside other prominent Christian leaders.The event also witnessed the participation of members of Christian associations from all the local government areas of Kano State, which added color to the occasion and demonstrated unity, brotherhood, and mutual understanding among them.

In their remarks, the Christian leaders expressed their special appreciation to the Director-General for the support he extended to them. They also pledged their full support to vote for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, to enable him secure a second term, in recognition of his care and concern for them—especially during festive periods such as Christmas and the New Year, God willing.

David Nweze Umahi at an end of the year press briefing to update the public on the progress made on our federal roads, coordinated plans to ease movement during the festive season, and to minimize traffic congestion.

The SSAP highlighted the achievements recorded by the Ministry in Northwest region under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu GCFR. We are building roads that will last a lifetime through the introduction of Concrete Pavement Roads across the Country.
