As part of an official working visit to Zamfara State, The Senior Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Community Engagement North-West, Hon. Abdullahi Yakasai, representing the Honourable Minister of Works, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, CON, carried out an on-site inspection and engagement at the SETRACO Road Project – Phase 1, Section 2, covering a 600-metre dualized carriageway executed in line with approved engineering standards.
The visit reflects the Federal Government’s strong commitment, under the leadership of the Honourable Minister of Works, to delivering quality, durable, and people-oriented road infrastructure that improves safety, enhances mobility, and drives economic growth. The inspected dualized section demonstrates compliance with specifications, including proper pavement structure, drainage systems, road furniture, and overall finishing for long-term sustainability.
Accompanied by engineers, project supervisors, controllers, and key stakeholders, Hon. Abdullahi Yakasai conveyed the Minister’s satisfaction with the progress and quality of work while reiterating the Ministry’s resolve to ensure accountability, value for money, and timely delivery of all ongoing federal road projects. The project is a strategic intervention aimed at strengthening connectivity, reducing travel time, and supporting commerce and social development across Zamfara State.
