Honourable Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai Senior Special Adviser to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Community engagement North West On Friday 16/05/2025 in continuation of the strategic partnership between his office and The Coordination Desk of United Nations on Northwest states, he had a meeting with the Ambassador of European Union, His Excellency Mr Gautier Mignot at the Embassy.
Their discussion centered on the European Union Project, The Global Gateway Strategy (GGS). They intend to collaborate to explore ways of supporting vulnerable people in IDP Camps.
In his submission, Honourable Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai SSA to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Community engagement North West highlighted to them that in the Northwest region, we don’t have the actual data of IDP campsin the region, hence the need to identify such IDPs so as to strategically have a sustainable plan towards addressing their social needs in terms of Shelter, Clean Water and rehabilitation processes.
They agreed to work closely together in the 7 States in the Region by aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. @officialasiwajubat
