The National Productivity Centre (NPC) hereby announces the forthcoming First Quarter Empowerment Programme 2026, a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing economic empowerment, productivity, and self-reliance among citizens.
The empowerment programme, popularly referred to as “Romooo”, will feature the distribution of a wide range of empowerment and welfare items to qualified beneficiaries. These include vehicles, mini trucks, tricycles (Adaidaita Sahu), motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, refrigerators, as well as food and agro-processing items such as bags of rice, flour, cooking oil for soya bean and groundnut processors, and other essential food items.This programme is designed to support youths, women, artisans, traders, farmers, and small-scale entrepreneurs by providing them with tools that enhance income generation and improve living standards.
It reflects the Centre’s unwavering commitment to poverty reduction, economic inclusion, and sustainable national development.The arrival of Romooo signals progress, hope, and practical support for the people.
