As part of an official working visit to Katsina State, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (North West), Hon. Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai, representing the Honourable Minister of Works, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, CON, conducted an on-site inspection and stakeholder engagement at the 17.362-kilometre Unguwar Iliya Bagudu–Kwantakwaran–Tsiga–Bakori Road project, including the Kadabo Bridge, located in Kafur Local Government Area.
The project has currently achieved approximately 15.5% completion, in line with approved engineering designs and construction standards.
The visit underscores the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment, under the leadership of the Honourable Minister of Works, to delivering quality, durable, and people-centred road infrastructure that enhances safety, improves mobility, and stimulates economic growth. The inspected dualised sections demonstrated compliance with required specifications, including proper pavement.
