In a moment marked by reflection, honour, and compassion, he paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the family of the late former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, in Daura, Katsina State. This visit was both a personal and also official as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement Northwest paying homage to a leader who shaped the destiny of Nigeria.

During the visit, he condoled with Her Excellency, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, wife of the late President; Alhaji Mamman Daura, nephew of the deceased; Ambassador Lawal Kazaure, his longtime associate and confidant, former Minister Suleman Adamu, siblings of former First Lady, the children, and the extended family at large. Sincere and powerful prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the late National Icon.
