Our meeting was both productive and strategic, providing an opportunity to review the progress made through our partnership with key UK development agencies such as the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). We also discussed the ongoing implementation of key initiatives in Kaduna State, including the Partnership for Agile Governance and Climate Engagement (PACE) and the Sustainable Power and Irrigation for Nigeria (SPIN) project. These programmes, alongside other areas of collaboration, are critical to improving the quality of life for our people and advancing sustainable development across the state.
Mrs. Lever commended our administration for the strides made in achieving relative peace and security in the state, particularly through the implementation of the Kaduna Peace Model.
In response, I reaffirmed the Kaduna State Government’s commitment to deepening our partnership with the UK for sustainable development and the continued well-being of our citizens.
