The attacks which took place in the evening of Friday , June 20th, 2025, saw the loss of lives of travellers mostly from Zaria , Kaduna state who were attacked by mobs Youths in Mangu LGA area.

Hon. Abdullahi Yakasai, the SSAP to the President on Community Engagement North-West, after receiving the sad news expressed his sorrow on the sad but avoidable incidence. The SSAP sent his heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Zaria, Kaduna, on this tragic accident for the loss of lives and those who sustained injuries during this unfortunate attacks.

Hon. Yakasai prayed for lives of the deposed and charged the relevant authorities to fish out the perpetrators of this heinous acts, while advising relevant security outfits to put in measures to avoid future occurrence.
