The State Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kano State Command, CN AI Ahmad, welcomed the Comptroller of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) Kano State Command, CIS BK Danja, for a courtesy visit at the NDLEA office in Kano.
During the meeting, both officials engaged in fruitful discussions regarding issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between their agencies in addressing security challenges and enhancing national integrity. They explored areas of synergy, particularly in combating drug trafficking and illegal immigration, which are critical to maintaining peace and security in the region. Commander Ahmad expressed appreciation for the visit and highlighted the NDLEA’s commitment to working closely with the NIS to ensure a coordinated approach in tackling drug-related offenses and immigration issues. Comptroller Danja echoed these sentiments, noting that cooperation between the two agencies is vital for effective law enforcement and the promotion of public safety.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of mementos and a mutual agreement to strengthen ties and share intelligence, ensuring that both agencies can better serve the community and uphold the law.
