Scenes from the inauguration of the Ivoirien Parliament Earlier today, I had the privilege of representing the ECOWAS Parliament at the inaugural session of the National Assembly of Côte d’Ivoire in Abidjan.

The event attracted parliamentarians from our sub-region, West Africa, and beyond. The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, addressed the Ivoirien Parliament.

To address the challenges facing our sub-region, collaboration and unity must be achieved among all the countries on our continent.
